Student Activities, SGA, NOW,CAB, and RSA present the first annual Spring Fest! There will be three hip hop acts in the afternoon: Shawn-E, HeebzStreet, and Soul Khan. There will be a brief break with a live DJ spinning for your entertainment followed by three pop acoustic acts: Andrew Ripp, Parachute, and Andy Grammer.

Grammer, a LA-based producer-singer-songwriter, is known for a unique vocal style that incorporates elements of beatboxing and more traditional pop melodies. His debut video “Keep Your Head Up” topped iTunes charts in 2010 and his debut album sales earned him the No. 1 spot on the Billboard New Artist chart the week it was released.

Parachute, a five-piece rock band from Charlottesville, Virginia, has released two full-length albums and three EPs since 2005, and has toured alongside internationally renowned artists including Michelle Branch, the Goo Goo Dolls, Kelly Clarkson, and The All-American Rejects.

In addition to live music, there will be basketball, bumper cars, inflatables, a mechanical bull, face painting, water balloon tosses, corn hole games, and pickup volleyball. To celebrate the end of Senior Week, the senior tent will have corn hole boards and a fishbowl for students (with a valid student ID) to drop their name in for a chance to win a custom painted 49er corn hole set signed by players from the 49er Football inaugural team.
